Overview

MindTalk is an end-to-end encrypted messenger. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

• Ethereum wallet address — used as your identity. We never collect your name, phone number, or email.
• Username — chosen by you during registration.
• Encrypted messages — stored on our server in encrypted form only. We cannot read them.
• Public encryption key — used to enable encrypted communication between users.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, phone number, or email address.
• We do not read your messages — all content is end-to-end encrypted.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not track your location or behavior.

End-to-End Encryption

All messages and files are encrypted on your device using NaCl box encryption (X25519 + XChaCha20-Poly1305) before being sent to the server. The server stores only encrypted ciphertext and cannot decrypt your messages.

Data Retention

Messages are stored on our server until you delete them. You can clear any conversation at any time from within the app.

Security

Your encryption keys are derived from your Ethereum wallet signature and stored securely in your device's secure enclave (iOS Keychain). We never have access to your private keys.
